Born and raised in London, I moved to Amsterdam seven years ago.
After leaving school I successfully completed a four year City and Guilds apprenticeship
in Carpentry and Joinery and since then have worked for over 20 years in the building industry.
I’ve now set up my own small company called Matizz, which is registered with the
Dutch chamber of commerce (K.V.K) and take on work projects in the vicinity of Amsterdam
and the surrounding areas.
My main speciality is built-in furniture. This includes built-in wardrobes/closets,
libraries/bookcases, all types of shelving/storage systems, purpose made kitchens etc.
However, because of my background, I am also familiar with all types of carpentry and joinery work
including renovation and improvement work, fitted kitchens, doors, windows, frames, decking etc.
I have all the tools, equipment and transport necessary for my work and have contacts
with specialist tradesmen for more multi-skilled jobs.
I have a great deal of pride in my work and am always looking to achieve
the best possible result. I have a good eye for detail and am used to delivering a high quality product.
What I consider of great importance is reliability and service.
With the quality of my work, communication skills, time keeping and “on time” finishing targets,
I endeavour to achieve a finished product that is second to none.
